Mosteiros

"Mosteiros" is a personal interpretation of the volcanic black sand beaches of Sao Miguel in the Azores, reconstructed through memory, description, and internal visualization rather than direct sight. Dark volcanic cliffs, black sand, and the intense glow of sunset over the Atlantic merge into a landscape that feels both immense and intimate. The work explores the relationship between memory, atmosphere, and imagined perception, transforming descriptive experience into a cinematic interpretation of place.
